This is the 2nd JV-80 that I bought. Just as the first one this one has a lot of problems with the keys. Red glue everywhere and a handfull of black keys cannot even be pressed. Apart from that it seems to work fine. A few buttons don’t work so I’ll fix that along the way. Lets dig in…
I usually buy a synth every couple of months, fix it, play with it for a while and then sell it again. (or keep it) Last week I bought the Roland D-5 but some other cool project synths came along online and they where all in the vicinity and cheap so I bought three more this weekend..
A few days ago I bought a Roland D-5 synthesizer that’s in desperate need of some TLC. It looked VERY dirty and most screws from the bottom plate where missing but the guy said it sort of worked and it was cheap so I bought it 🙂
